MARDUK: 2005 European Tour Dates Announced
October 19, 2004MARDUK will embark on a massive world tour beginning in December. The European portion of the trek, dubbed "Deathmarch 2004/2005", will be divided into two parts, with the first taking place in December and the second during spring 2005.
Several dates for the second leg of the tour have been released by the group's booking agency, Metallysee. They are as follows:

A brand-new MARDUK song, entitled "Throne of Rats", has been made available for download at this location.
"Throne of Rats" comes off the group's new album, "Plague Angel", due in Europe on November 22 via Blooddawn/Regain. It will be released on the following formats: CD, LP and Picture Disc, and possibly also as a limited-edition digipak with a video for the track "Steel Inferno". The album will also be released on license by Hellion in Brazil, CD Maximum in Russia and Soundholic in Japan. No decision has been made on who will release it in the USA. MARDUK will also release a special "Deathmarch" tour EP on both CD and vinyl that will contain unreleased material and will only be sold on the upcoming tour.
The CD, which was recorded at Endarker studio in Norrköping, Sweden with producer Devo Andersson, will be the band's first release with new singer Mortuus (previously a member of FUNERAL MIST and TRIUMPHATOR under the alias Arioch). A video for "Throne of Rats" is currently being produced by director Roger Johansson (THE HAUNTED, IN FLAMES, HAMMERFALL) and is being described as "a morbid masterpiece and a tribute to death and war."
